We didn't have breakfast during our stay but next time will definitely take the opportunity. We were able to get a courteousy van from Homestead to pick us up and drop us off so we could enjoy a couple of beers. Lovely stay there and so thankful for the return of my phone. We stayed for two nights at the Riverside Homestead while visiting Bay of Islands and a day trip out to Cape Reinga. What a wonderful stay - the house is one of the most peaceful places we have stayed at. Michael and Chris have exceptional attention to details, from calming music when entering the room to an excellent breakfast on the balcony while enjoying the fantastic views down to the river. Everything at breakfast was home made as well! Great location to some nice restaurants, breweries and to the treaty ground. We will definitely recommend friends and family to stay here!

Everything was perfect! The property has a beautiful ground with an outdoor area by the river. The loft itself where we stayed was perfect. It’s very dog friendly with a gated garden for our dog to roam around. The space has everything we need and more! Chris and Val are absolutely lovely, such amazing hosts and we’d love to go back there. Thank you for your unrivaled hospitality :)
