The room itself had everything I needed, only thing was, there was no window in the main room, only a small one in the bathroom. But as I only stayed one night it didn't really bother me. Upon check out, he personally takes us to the ART station. Strongly recommend for anyone visiting Tongli to stay here.

We noticed the place was rated “the most elegant courtyard” in town upon arrival, and it surely felt that way. Everywhere you turn, it is a picture-perfect scene directly cut from a book or a movie. There are tea sets on table and newly harvested tea. A fruit plate was filled with the day’s fresh choices. Books are real, good books, not those only put there for decoration. The hotel staff was also very helpful. Seeing that we sometimes left our door ajar, she thoughtfully ignited mosquito-repellent herds around the vicinity. It is a place one might feel like living in a dream, surrounded by the ambiance of thousands of years of traditional Chinese culture. The moment you entered the hotel and closed the door behind you, you leave the hustling, bustling world outside, and entered one serene, zen and beautiful.

The host of the homestay was very friendly, my family and I really enjoyed our stay there. The location of the homestay is very strategic, it's within 5-10min walk to PingJiang road, the museum, Lion garden, and Zhuo Zheng garden. The host also introduce a few good eateries and restaurants, which we enjoyed very much. The facilities and amenities were complete too.
