The design, spacious room and bathroom, cleanliness of linens and room, decent breakfast right in your balcony, good wifi connection and CCTVs (hope they are working for your safety), staffs that very helpful and super friendly are exceptional! They also rent electric/bicycles with affordable prices. Wasnt taking anypics in this hotel but what are advertised was quite accurate.

It is situated 6.5 km from Bangsal Harbour and provides full-day security. Parking on-site is available and the homestay also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Very good located. You can walk easily from the port. When I arrived Darwis immediately organised a bike to rent for me after treating me with an ice tea as a welcome gesture. The breakfast served every day to your terrace was also very nice and you could chose a salty/sweet dish and fruits/juice and coffee/tea - so really a good start into the day. Also loved the cats being around and up for a cuddle. You have a lot of nice places to eat/shop very close, but anyway the island is so small that you can reach everything easily. The whole time I felt truly welcomed by the whole wonderful family, I actually wanted to extend but was already booked so I returned a few days later. Because some people mentioned these things in the reviews: there is an outside bathroom with a single stream of water as a shower what I actually loved (especially in the morning such a beautiful light). Also I can confirm that you sometimes share the space with some little creatures that are normal on a tropical island, some ants, some tiny caterpillars, they don’t do any harm.

Staying at Nanas Homestay was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mike and Ida, who are the most lovely hosts you could ask for. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our stay special. The property itself is simply stunning. The garden is beautiful and well-maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is also perfect, just a short walk from the beach and local restaurants, but still very quiet. The place is so nice that we really enjoyed spending time laying in the hammock and sitting on the sofa in our green corner with no rush at all. You can easily enjoy both sunrises and sunsets as the homestay is situated in the center of the island. We extended our stay up to 7 days because 3 days were really not enough. I highly recommend Nanas Homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway on Gili Air. It's a true oasis of tranquility, and I can't wait to return. The only unpleasant thing was our neighbors. Though you are separated from them by a little garden you can still hear them. But no one can predict who you will share the space with so this is definitely not the thing the hosts are responsible for

The staff is extremely nice! The room is beautifully decorated and clean. The bathroom is big, love it has open shower. Comfy bed, two types of pillow which gives you a choice (neck problem person here appreciates this) The room also has a little terrace All the little details in the room made it super special!! Eg: refillable water bottles, sarongs, locally sourced decor, eco friendly repellent,etc Bravo for this!! I can’t believe how nice and beautiful it is for the price!! If you are doubting, just book! I would give not 10/10 but 11/10 in great value *I almost forgot, it has a pool!

All the staff is just the best people I met during my whole trip to Indonesia. So kind, joyful, respectful. I will always remember them and keep them in my heart. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary there and they prepared the bed with a turtle towel decoration, some flowers and a very nice hand-written note for us -and a nice welcome cocktail-. The breakfast was good with fresh fruits and warm food, decent coffee and very good fruit juice. The pancakes were our favorite, btw. The bed was reallt comfortable and the pillows were great! Hot water in the shower and a spaceful room with a nice terrace. It was just amazing! They really made us feel loved and taken care of. I will come back to this place every time I am in Gili Air.

From nice clean rooms to the most helpful staff and very friendly owner, Gili Nyepi made our week-long stay a big pleasure. The hotel itself is located a short walk from the pier making it an easy walk on arrival & departure. Our room was very clean, had fast wifi, and we really enjoyed the quiet jungle garden overlooking the terrace. Highly recommended!
