We arrived quite late in the evening but Rani and Oussama made us feel really welcome from the start. The room has a comfortable bed, is lovingly furnished and is very clean. The views from the house are lovely. We booked the shorter tour to Gunung Bromo through Maison Manendra and that was very well organised and a nice surprise because the chosen route avoids most of the crowds (especially for the sunrise). The food shared around the big table on the rooftop terrace was always fresh and delicious and we had some very nice conversations with the other guests and also Rani and Oussama.

And they don’t leave after you mention a couple of times that you’re not interested. I felt like there is no privacy. Our room was next to the road, that’s why all of them could easily get in. I felt uncomfortable.
