This place is clean, has amazing view of the Lake Toba, has durians, has cute cats, is quiet, has air conditioner, has comfortable bed, at an authentic and strategic location to explore north and south of Samosir island, and is walking distance to restaurants and local foods. And rest assured that Dimmer (the host) will take care of you and make arrangements for you - Truly the best homestay I have ever stayed at in a very beautiful place.

Stayed in the Deluxe Sea View room and waking up to that stunning blue ocean, unreal. Honestly felt like I could live there forever. The staff were amazing, especially Kak Rinaa! Super friendly, super helpful, and always there when you need something. Oh, and the food? So good. Total comfort, inside and out. The downside? Hmm... probably just one: it’s *way* too hard to leave.

The staff is exceptional awesome, super friendly, helpful and heartwarming. I feld very welcome. The place has an awesome vibe, a great lobby, a superb balcony, good showers and great food.

Sumatra Expedition Lodge se găsește în Bukit Lawang și are o grădină, o terasă, un bar, și WiFi gratuit în întreaga proprietate. We had the best time at Sumatra expedition lodge. The room was spacious, clean and had air con and a fan. The family were lovely and the workers were so friendly and helpful. We had amazing meals at the lodge (our favourite the tempeh rengdeng). We also did a jungle trek organised by the lodge. We had the most incredible day with our tour guide Oman and his helper Onkey (sorry if wrong spelling). Oman was so great with 20 plus years of experience in the jungle he was so knowledgeable and we saw so much beautiful jungle and wildlife. He also deeply cared about the environment and was a great advocate for animal wellbeing and safety. We were fortunate enough to see lots of monkeys and observe the orangutan’s up close. Definitely recommend 10/10

Amazing room, big, clean, spaceous bathroom, well maintained. Great view, good fresh breakfast. Owner amazingly helpful, even ensured my safe shared car travel and checked back with me.

The view padang, Amazing view, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry, cold beer, close to restaurants se găsește în Padang, la 13 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Air Manis, și are o grădină, un lounge comun, o... Amazing host, comfortable beds and the hospitality they provided just simply amazing. We will come back for sure!

JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us se află pe malul mării în Bukit Lawang și are un bar. Everything was wonderful. The location overlooking the river from your balcony is amazing. The room is basic but for the prize it is fantastic value. Apart from the fantastic view you get a super comfy bed, a big mosqito net (without holes :-), a bathroom and toilet (cold water), a fan and WIFI in the room - which I was not expecting. But above all Alex and his family are exellent hosts and you feel very velcome. Alex arranged transport for me to and from Bukit Lawang. I would really recommend this transport (shared tourist taxi) and of course the main thing: Alex arranged a two day trek for me. It vas amazing with lots of wild life including orangutans.
