The host Yennie and her family were AMAZING! Super friendly, helpful and created such a welcoming environment. There were so many personal touches in the room which really made us feel special. Not only that but Yennie helped us plan parts of our trip with superb recommendations. She also organised a private driver to take us all around Southern Vietnam, her dad Dung! He looked after us so well throughout our travels and was so accomodating of us and our needs. From providing lunch recommendations, to stopping wherever we wanted along the way and taking couples photos of us, there wasnt anything he didn’t do! A fantastic experience and made our stay in Vietnam truly memorable.

I can really recommend this homestay, as I had such a good time I decided to stay for one night longer than I planned. Oanh and her family are some of the most warm, friendly, hard working people I've ever met, and they treat you with such kindness and hospitality. The family operates a couple different homestays on An Binh, so if she doesn't have room you can ask if her brother or sister does. The house is a beautiful traditional house, and sitting in the hammocks on the porch you can have a chat with her or the other guests, or just relax and listen to birds singing in the yard. I did the boat tour with Oanh's brother and it was a great experience, I've never had fruit as sweet as the longan and rambutan we picked from the trees during the tour. There's bicycles you can borrow to go around the island, and I was also able to rent Oanh's sister's scooter to drive to Sa Dec for a day. Also, Oanh is an amazing cook and her food is the best I've had in Vietnam so far! I told her she should start offering cooking classes too, maybe you can ask her to show how she makes some of the food :) Thank you Oanh and your family, hope to see you again!

Breakfast good and plentiful. We stayed for two weeks and they never served the same thing twice in a row. Items off menu for other meals were delicious. There are not a lot of eating options on the island but after two weeks we scoped out everything to be had. The location was lovely and the grounds were beautifully kept. The free bicycles were a bonus.

But don't get discouraged to book it, Ju and other stuff will do all the best to make you feel relaxed. The swimming pool was great and as a bonus they have an outside gym. Food at the place was great, right portions. Also it may look it is far way, but honestly you can rent bike and go to Coco house(restaurant on the other side) and than go to local zoo and Finnish trip in Pagoda and come back. I u wanna go to Vinh Long I would advice you to tike motorbike, which you can rent at hostel. Ju was also organizing for me how to get to place and from it, just contact her she will organize local taxi for you. Btw. Surrounded art is amazing. Painting and sculptures, bridges, really cool!
