“Two of the best things about the hostel were the price and the restaurant across the road (called Sabaidee Inn). The lady there cooks with love, the portions are huge, super delicious and prices cheap (40-50 baht for Thai food). Try her Pad Thai! We ate there 10 days in a row. Kk Hut is cheap. The owner-lady is very nice. The room has a big bed, mozzy net, balcony, hammock. Free water is included, also can get hot water for drinks. 8 min walk from the beginning of walking street. They also offer tours, buses, bikes etc.”

“The facility and staff was very welcoming and helpful. You can really feel at home. There is no need to go into town. Everything you could need is made available if you feel like making this hostel your home base. Nothing but smiles and good vibes :) My wife and I made a mistake by deciding to explore another hostel ( Pai Backpacker Paradise Resort) on our last two days. The customer service was quite poor in comparison to what you will receive if you book at Pai Yard Guest House!”

“Best hostel in Pai. It is located between rice fields so the atmosphere in the evening is awesome. There is a bar where you can meet loads of people. It made our stay so nice and is one of the reasons we would Would come back to pai.”

“Location is just 500 mts. Away from Pai main road which gives you feeling of living in a small village. They have free shuttle service to main Market from 9am - 11 pm. So you need not to rent bikes. If you want to go out to explore in terms of food, just take the free shuttle and get dropped. Call the driver to pick you when you are done. I rented bike for just a day from the hostel itself and that was the cheapest. If you are looking for a place to relax and get in touch with nature this place is a real paradise for you.”

“Fantastic stay at Tribal Backpackers. It feels like coming home. Really nice people and a good vibe. In the evening together at little campfire and making music. My best hostel in 3 weeks in Thailand. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean.”

“The location is good(but so is everything in pai since it got like 5 blocks). Except for that its hard to tell. The rooms were crammed, the toilet flooded in our first day and kept doing so everyday. We were backpackers and didnt care much about it since we like to stay in cheap hostels but all in all we paid more on this hostel than we did in many good ones across thailand. You can get cheaper hostels in pai that have way better facility and care than this one so..i mean...i could recommend if it was the cheapest one available but it isnt.”

“The common space was nice as it was outside and had hammocks to relax in. The host, Maun (forgive me if I misspelled) was very nice and welcoming. The place was very cheap so if you are on a tight budget and are okay with it not being clean(especially the washroom) and noise doesn't bother you then I'm sure it's fine. I came from a hostel in chiang mai that was clean and provided a better experience for the same price so I think I got picky. Haha.”
