Location: with L5 bus you arrive directly to/from Flixbus Station in Lille Europe (day time schedule). Walking distance to Vieux-Lille and well connected to public transport. Staff: all l o v e l y! Design: awesome old building with great renovation, adding modern improvements. Dorms are spread on two floors. No elevator. Mixed dorm with 8 beds: plenty of space to move around, even sit. Great lockers (bring your lock) and extra spaces to store stuff. Great beds with well-fit curtains, socket and light. Great stairs to reach the upper beds. WC: common, one per floor, offering 4 separate spaces, always clean and neat. Soap provided. Showers: apart from WC, common, one per floor, offering 4 separate spaces, always clean and neat. Shower gel provided. Amazing water pressure! Big garden with tables and chairs and a bar. There's a beautiful bar inside too. The coffee costs 2,5€ and the breakfast is 11€. I liked both. Free luggage storage before check-in and after checkout.

Everything was very clean and new, well functioning, kitchen was large fantastically equipped (availability of oil, vinegar and spices, tea, coffee space and complete equipment). I received larger room than the booked one and I stayed there alone.
