The kitchen has lots of great food options including a very affordable three course dinner. I was accommodated with gluten free pasta for the dinner, and gluten free buns for breakfast, both of which I hugely appreciated! The pool was a really nice perk, it was great to have a chance to practice my swimming while traveling.

To provide a more unique piece of comment, when I arrived late, tired and outside of incheck hours, I found the bedsheets presented neatly inside-out. In case we are not familiair with how to make up a bed the easiest way, take the sheets inside-out and shake like crazy. I was tired and I was positively speechless (if I was talking). Never made a bed up so easily in my life, for real. On a more personal experience, Matt really gave me the “Swiss” feeling that other, more touristy places, failed me to provide. I felt comfortable and like at home in the area, but then in Switzerland. I will definitely come back here, to climb the mountain across Matt. I did not have the time for it sadly. Also, ja, Florian, cool dude. The reviews about the host does him right. (Also you get free public transport btw, in the Kanton)

Very friendly team, extremely clean and well organized holiday house, installations were top, we could hardly hear any noise from our room (and the place was full with families!). The dinner was EXCELLENT, very high quality cheese, nice wine, great service. We will come again as soon as possible!

Am fost cazați într-un fost penitenciar, transformat cu mult gust și inteligență de o echipă de tineri pasionați într-un hotel modern, primitor și plin de personalitate. Conceptul este unic, păstrând istoria locului, dar oferind în același timp confort, curățenie impecabilă și o atmosferă relaxantă. Camerele sunt curate și bine organizate, spațiile comune sunt primitoare, iar personalul extrem de amabil și deschis. Se simte energia bună și respectul pentru acest loc cu poveste. Locația în Chur este excelentă, ușor accesibilă și perfectă pentru explorarea orașului. Un exemplu minunat de cum un loc cu un trecut dur poate fi transformat într-un spațiu cald și viu. Recomand cu mare drag și aș reveni oricând!

It is in a perfect location and the bus drops you off right in front of the door. You also receive a Swiss pass which is so awesome and valuable as you can travel all over... the breakfasts were good and the paid dinner was affordable and so yummy.

I have forgotten the owner's name (I apologize) but she was absolutely amazing. So nice, friendly, caring, helpful, etc. I asked about a local beer at dinner and she just gave us one to try, no charge. So friendly! My own teeny tiny issue was the single bed I had for the night was a slat bed and I am a very big person so some of the slats kept popping out so if you are big like me, maybe ask for a room with a double bed. That said, no hotel is 100% perfect but this is as close as it gets if you just want an affordable, clean, and comfortable place to stay with excellent food for dinner and breakfast, beautiful scenery, and, again, an amazing host who is actively involved and cares about your comfort.

Catrina Hostel se află în Disentis, la 39 km de Freestyle Academy - Indoor Base, și oferă un lounge comun, un bar și parcare privată. The room was in easy walking distance from the train station Acla Da Fontauna. Check-In was easy and the staff was welcoming I liked the wooden vibes, it was warm and the room had a big balcony window (but not accessible balcony) out of which I could see the sunset and mountains. Amazing! It was very quiet and I had a good nights sleep.
