Located in the Jinniu district in Chengdu, 700 metres from Wenshu Monastery, Chengdu Lazybones Hostel Templeside Poshpacker boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel provides a rich collection of free entertainment for guests to experience the local culture such us dumpling class, Sichuan cooking class, hot pot activity, Chinese facial painting and calligraphy. Chargeable tour arrangement is possible upon request. I stayed in a mixed dorm for about 5 nights in July 2025. The room had a private bathroom, which I shared with my roommates. It mostly wasn't any issue regarding bumping into each other in the bathroom. The room itself is quite spacy, provides a locker and also has an AC, which the guests can regulate. The laundry room offeres two washing machines, a dryer as well as many hanging racks. The washing machine and the dryer are able to be paid by Wechat (as well as the washing machine seems to work with coins as well.) The costs for one washing load comes to 11¥. When you enter the hotel, which was very easy to find caused by providing an accurate adress, you will find the reception on the left. The lobby itself has a Cafe vibe over day and turned to a bar at night (which allowes smoking during this time.). I am a non smoker and was worried about this before, but it actually never was that intense, so even didn't bother. The hotel also offers several trips to hot spots, you might consider. The only down side is, that for most of them you would need to sign up for two people (also possible with other guess). Regarding the service, I definitely can praise Nicole, the receptionist! She is extremly helpful, fun to chat to, even played some Majiang with me in the evening and offers an awesome service, such as the others as well. I seriously recommend staying there! The location is nice, even a bit far away from the metro station (15min. by foot), the service was excellent, room spacy, nice and clean.

The room was clean and had everything I needed. The reception staff were both kind and responsive. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Chengdu.

Boasting a bar, the hostel is close to several noted attractions, around 400 metres from Chunxi Road and around 1.4 km from Tianfu Square. The hostel offers city views, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. The hostel was really clean and the staff were kind and helpful. Daily water bottles were the best.

Set in Leshan and within 7.6 km of Jiazhouzhang Juan, Leshan Qiuye Book House B&B has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The property is around 7.7 km from Leshan Giant Buddha, 30 km from Leshan Railway Station and 33 km from Emeishan Railway Station. Baoguo Temple, Emeishan is 34 km from the hostel and Emeishan Tour Passenger Transport Centre is 34 km away. Delightful library-garden peaceful space. I enjoyed staying in this little corner of Leshan. It is conveniently located also relative to the riverfront, worth exploring. There is a busstop just 50m away, and many service conveniences as the university is in the vicinity with youth 'vibe'.

All units in the hostel are equipped with a kettle. This is a wonderful place run by an English speaking host who cares for her guests. We enjoyed the lunch, dinner and breakfast very much.

The staff are really nice and very helpful. Love it!

Very friedly nice enviorment- Helena (the girl who works at reception) and the other guy were really nice with me I felt like home. They let me use the kitchen to Cook and also they gave me info on how to move around the city.. they both speak english.. They also organize dinners together (when I was there I was invited at Dumpligs home-made dinner) and I had a great time ! Thank you ! Good quality/price- the area around has many restaurants and supermarkets.
