I came to Sonderia for a few nights and ended up staying for two weeks (with a short trip to Jiuzhaigou National Park). The staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and there are included social activities to meet other travelers, such as hot pot or a mahjong class. There are also a number of tours offered through reception. I booked a giant panda and a red panda "keeper" experience, which were the highlights of my trip :) The downstairs area offers tasty food and becomes a bar in the evening with nightly music and a cool vibe. Nearby are a number of restaurants and shops (even a Walmart and cheap fruit trucks) and a pretty river view with colorful lights at night (at least in November & December). Within walking distance to the metro. I had a spacious private room with private bathroom. Chengdu is a wonderful, laidback, and affordable city, and Sonderia was a great home base. I highly recommend!

El staff habla muy bien inglés. Una obligación probar el Hot pot que está al lado del hotel, tremenda experiencia. Chengdu es una ciudad hermosa, volveremos.

Host was friendly and very helpful planning our hike of Mount Emei. We found it a bit difficult to find information online about the hike, so it was good to get some local guidance of distances, what bus to take and which places along the route offer accommodation.

Establecido en Leshan y a 7.6 km de Jiazhouzhang Juan, Leshan Qiuye Book House B&B tiene un jardín, habitaciones para no fumadores y WiFi gratis. Delightful library-garden peaceful space. I enjoyed staying in this little corner of Leshan. It is conveniently located also relative to the riverfront, worth exploring. There is a busstop just 50m away, and many service conveniences as the university is in the vicinity with youth 'vibe'.

Emma's Guesthouse tiene WiFi gratis en toda la propiedad y habitaciones con aire acondicionado en Songpan. Emma is fantastic !!! She will help with everything .she can organize tours, transportation and give you all information you need. It is a cosy friendly place , not the modern chinese style hotel.

Good location - the metro station is right beside. Walkable to Chunxi and the riverside. Staff members are very helpful. There are convenient shops in the vicinity - eateries, stores, coffee shops, noodle shops, fruit trucks, etc. You can walk around the charming residential area behind the building to see a different side of Chengdu. Paid washing and drying machines on site, you can also borrow the clothes steamer for free. Rooms have good sound-proofing from outside noise but not of the rooms beside yours. Free filtered water source. Rooftop garden and the reading room were a nice touch. They offer joining tours and travel advice.

POSHPACKER - Chengdu Flipflop Hostel - Right Next To Taikooli & Metro - Chill & Social Rooftop Garden Bar - Free Activities - Friendly English Speaking Staff - Tibet, Panda, Buddha & Snow Mountain... The location is right in the center of the city!!! Staffs were super friendly and professional. All amenities was perfectly prepared!!!! Room was super clean and bedding was so hygienic. The vibe was just amazing too. I would be definitely come back to this place, if any next visit chengdu city.
