Amazing hostel on the beach, Carolina was great and helped me enter the room at 1pm (Gabriela didn't allow me even though hostel was almost empty, but that's fine, you can leave your bags at reception and chill on the beach). Great wifi, delicious food at their restaurant, cool vibes. Lot of options to reserve, I stayed in dorm of 4 beds, good AC and both nights ended up alone in the room. Kind staff, very clean, good beach- almost no waves(explore on the right, over the rocks - there is a private beach for you). Will definitely come back!

The hostal is close to the center of Santa Marta, and you can also walk to the central market from where the buses to Minca and Palomino leave. The street is quiet but still feels safe! The room was clean and had a nice colonial vibe, good AC and a fan, nicely put together. The American owner is super friendly and helpful, and we were received with a tasty welcome drink. Breakfast was delicious and you can also refill Wasser bottles for a 1,000 COP. It's the best option we saw for Santa Marta and we highly recommend to stay there! 😊

Their kindness, warmth, and attention to every detail turned our stay into something very special—we felt more like guests in a home than visitors at an accommodation. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and prepared with so much thought, especially for non–meat eaters.
