The staff was very friendly, Josue helped my with tours and when my phone broke. The balcony with views of the volcano is amazing, there is a little garden to hang out, easy to meet other backpackers. The beds are comfortable and each have their own light, plugs and lockers. Also it was very clean and a quiet location at night. Bonus: very cute young hostel dog Mate 🥰

Breakfast is included and very nice!

Ideal if you have a car and like to spend peaceful mornings and evenings surrounded by nature. Saw plenty of birds like toucans, guacamayas and hummingbirds while there. The owner is also a very friendly person who likes to chat and provide great suggestions for places to go. If I ever return to the La Fortuna area, I would definitely stay there again. Hot shower, clean bathroom and comfy bed as well.

I booked for two nights but ended up staying four and enjoyed every single day. Rooms are extremely cheap and you get so much in return. Breakfast is good bar is good the staffs is nice and love to chat and help. Having a bar near the pool is fantastic. Booking tours is convenient. We had a problem with one of the transfer companies who canceled the trip without notifying us. It was not the hotel’s fault but they still mitigated the problem as best they could by offering a free room and a breakfast, something that not everyone would do

The location was very central but still quiet. The outside space was great especially the table tennis table. Ana was super friendly and gave us lots of advise and booked tours for us. Kitchen was clean and well equipped. We would definitely stay again!
