The most beautiful sunsets are there and surf is about 20 mins away. Arif is the most genuine and helpful person we have met in Indonesia, and he's surely the coolest guy on Nias! He helped us out on many occasions and always offered genuine advice and willingness to share the Nias culture. Thanks for the great time and see you again!

Stayed one night at Red Capsule Hostel before my flight — it was a great choice for a short stay. The capsule was clean, comfortable, and the facilities seemed well-kept. I didn’t have time to explore much, but from what I saw, it’s a solid spot for a quick stopover in Medan. Would consider staying again for a longer visit.

I have to say, from the outside, it's not the best by look but honestly the warm energy you receive from the owner makes you turn a blind eye on everything around and also it's actually a meeting point for soo many backpackers either arriving in Melan or just leaving!

Medan Dazhong Backpacker's Hostel pune la dispoziție cazare în Medan, la aproximativ 1,9 km de Gara Medan și la 2,9 km de Palatul Maimun. The owner is so kind and helpful! He helped me with recieving a package in Indonesia what was so important for me. He gives some good tips for the city and for first steps in Indonesia. The place has nice common space so it's easy to socialise with other travellers and go out with them for food, sightseeing etc.

First very disapointed because the booked superior room was very dirty and had a very bad smell inside. Bought an upgrade to VIP room, it was much better and my stay was fine. Bed was big and comfy, facilities to make tea/coffee in room. A/C worked fine. Alfa Mart near to hotel.
