Also very helpfull when you need or want something. The best thing we could do was book the jungle trek tour. Our guide Edi Caterpilar was doing great teaching us all the stuff he knows about the jungle. We saw many oeran-oetangs and other monkeys. Also other animals like a weird river-turtle. Rafting in the end is also worth doing, very nice ending of the trip!

He gives honnest prices and don't try to scam you. Of course you need to dare talk to people to have a good experience.

Pondok Wisata Istana XI se află în localitatea Medan din regiunea Sumatra, la 3,3 km de Gara Medan. Camerele de la acest hostel sunt dotate cu televizor. First very disapointed because the booked superior room was very dirty and had a very bad smell inside. Bought an upgrade to VIP room, it was much better and my stay was fine. Bed was big and comfy, facilities to make tea/coffee in room. A/C worked fine. Alfa Mart near to hotel.

Great accommodation and help with getting food. 5 mins drive from airport. We arrived at 12.00 and asked the owner what we could do in the afternoon. Within an hour we were trekking to remote farm, eating freshly caught fish, visiting traditional village houses and swimming under a waterfall. The guide was excellent.
