Drop Inn Tottori is situated in the centre of Tottori city, only a 5-minute walk from Tottori Station and a 3-minute walk from Tottori Station Bus Terminal. Very conveniently located, even during heavy snow I was able to walk from the station to the hotel in a couple minutes. I was only there for one night but the dorm was neat and quiet. I liked the list of activities and onsens to visit posted by the elevator, definitely got inspo for my next visit!

Situated in Masuda, 600 metres from Mochiishi Beach, ゲストハウス＆カフェ ハレテル features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Amazing view of the ocean (just a few steps away), with a double rainbow (because it had recently rained), and spinning windmill in the background. Included access to laundry machine, free items in the fridge, general access to the whole house were great to have. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Wished I could have stayed another day to enjoy the cafe and watch the sunset when it wasn't cloudy.

Located in Inokuchi, 32 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, Guesthouse tonari provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The place was clean and very comfortable. There was a kitchen that had all the appliances needed to make a good meal. The best part was the hosts. We had some issues with our bike rental and they called the firm and discussed the issue. They fixed everything. They helped me navigate the bus schedule that Google maps wasn't aware of. They were just amazing hosts.

Set in Shimo-yuge, Guest House tokonoma has a garden. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The host was super nice and knowledgeable. Introduced the area well, including the great day public bath and local restaurants. The house was super well updated and maintained. The weather and temperature was great when I was there and I could sleep very well after biking around the island. It was very close to the local beach and shrine. The kitchen had everything needed.

Roku Hostel Hiroshima has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Hiroshima. I think this hostel is one of the most friendly hostels I've been to. From the moment I entered I was greeted with hello, welcome, good evening, and it doesn't took long before i found myself making friends I would even later meet later in my trip. The owner is extremely nice, helping, with a bright personality, and I had a great time talking with her while drinking coffee in the mornings. The location is awesome, located 5 minutes from the station close to all the interesting spots. Facilities were clean, the beds were comfortable, the dorms have curtains and a good sense of privateness. I'm grateful this hostel was the hostel I began my trip with.

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of city, Ruco is located in Hagi, 1.7 km from Kikugahama Beach. Absolutely everything. Super friendly staff, clean, and a great location in the beautiful town of hagi

Set in Shikano, GNARLY OWL features a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. All rooms come with a shared bathroom with a bidet, a hairdryer and slippers. The units will provide guests with a fridge. Owner is a super friendly and chill guy, great to have drinks with. The room i stayed in was a traditional one with tatami floors and a futon bed; both weren't too hard yet comfortable enough.

Set within 26 km of Lake Shinji, 一棟貸し切り ゲストハウス Sai in Yasugi features a number of amenities including a garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. The house is spacious, with everything you need from kitchen facilities, games available and very very comfortable beds. An ideal location close to the station, it was great for our 1 night's stay (we visited the Adachi Art Museum).

Located in Hiroshima, within less than 1 km of Atomic Bomb Dome and a 12-minute walk of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, WeBase Hiroshima provides accommodation with a shared lounge, and free WiFi. Amazing location, a 5-10 minute walk from the Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castle and several shopping streets and malls. The hotel has a very modern design and Kenji Yanobe ship's cat to greet you in their lobby. Fast internet, clean rooms, comfortable stay. I had a great experience in a private room and would recommend a stay here.

Just a 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station, Hostel Cuore Kurashiki is located in a historic Bikan district in Kurashiki. Each guest room features unique design and stylish interior. They have a bar and restaurant. It is so close to the tourist spots.
