The location is right on the main thoroughfare where the public onsen are located. Despite being close to the action, it was still very quiet. The building is modern, well kept, and spotless.

Set in Toyooka, 2.5 km from Kinumaki Shrine, KINOSAKI KNOT offers air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. The hostel was very clean and comfortable. Tatami mats were pleasant to sleep on. The owner was very nice.

西海岸オーガニック小麦畑1200坪眺望FarmStayYululu offers air-conditioned accommodation in Sumoto. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The cottage was beautifully made and smelt of cedar wood. The living room was so relaxing and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Homemade breakfast was so special! The host was very welcoming.

Situated in Kobe and within 2.7 km of Kobe Center for Overseas Migration and Cultural Interaction, Guesthouse NALUノ道 has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Takashi-san was very nice and approachable! The bunk beds compared to other hostels that I've stayed are much bigger and also the room only has two bunk beds and is spacious, which helps if you need to fix your luggage! :D The rooms are on the second floor which has one toilet for sharing. The second floor also has a public space. Two Shower rooms are downstairs along with another toilet that has a bidet. The location is also a 5mins walk from the nearest subway station! There's a 7/11 and Family Mart Konbini near the place! I also tried ordering a meal in the cafe - the hamburger set meal was Oishi! It was very filling also since it includes a rice and hamburger + sunny side egg on top of it while glazed with a special sauce. It also includes onion rings and fries! Overall, the place is very good and affordable, would recommend and go back again here :D

Set in Toyooka, 11 km from Soun-ji Temple, Toyooka guesthouse Hostel Act offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. The guesthouse was very nice and the host was super kind. We arrived late and she helped us find a very nice local izakaya. We had a great time. Highly recommended!

TONARINO Hostel for Backpackers is in a prime location in the centre of Kobe, and provides a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. The host was extremely friendly and hospitable. You can tell how much he cares about creating a comfortable, cosy and welcoming guesthouse for backpackers. I would say that the level of comfort and attention to detail especially with the amenities would be on par with most high end hotels, so it was really appreciated and I hope to come back soon. :) The location was also great since I had an early flight from kansai airport and only needed to walk 10 minutes to catch the express bus.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the city, T and K Hostel Kobe Sannomiya East is 10 minutes from Sannomiya Station by foot and train. Certain rooms include a seating area where you can relax. A nice, affordable hostel in a good location.
