Located in Kanazawa, 1.8 km from Kanazawa Castle, SHARIN provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking and a bar. The staff was very helpful and communicative. I was given great tips and suggestions for my trip. They also have a common area in which you can share a drink and talk with other travelers, making my first time in Kanazawa great!

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. The hosts (Miki and her husband) were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Blue Hour Kanazawa is conveniently located just a 3-minute's walk away from Kanazawa Station. I like the location it is near JR Kanazawa Station which is just a few mins walk. The place is clean and with free amenities too. There is a mini store with drinks, snacks and noodles near the reception area if you’re lazy to go downstairs to buy. If you intend to wander around for a few hours before leaving Kanazawa, the hostel offers free luggage storage even after check out which is nice.

Kanazawaya is situated in Kanazawa, 6.5 km from Kanazawa Castle and 7 km from Kenrokuen Garden. Very very comfortable huge bed and free parking! We loved our stay here.

Shaq Bighouse has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kanazawa. This 1-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom. Shaq is one of the best person that I meet in my trip. The atmosphere in the hostel was great. The service was excellent. I recommend to everyone.

Set 40 km from Shiroyone Senmaida, 九右衛門ゲストハウス(kuemon guesthouse) offers rooms with air conditioning in Noroshi. The host was incredibly kind, even though he didn't speak English. On the other hand, I absolutely love the charming rural atmosphere here.

Takigahara Craft & Stay has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Komatsu. I loved everything about the place. It was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The surroundings are stunning, and it's very easy to go for a hike in nature. The staff is kind and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. Bear in mind that the stay is a bit remote, so it's hard to get there and move around the area if you don't have your own vehicle. Nevertheless, they will offer to pick you up and drop you off at the station, while also providing you with a bicycle once you get there. To me, this only added to the experience. There's a cafe where you can have something to eat from 10 am to 6 pm. Even though the food offering is limited, it is really tasty.
