Amazing view, well decorated, clean and comfortable sleep, and friendly hosts. Lovely beach with hammocks to chill. 30 min walk to Movie village. Bus timings are infrequent but it was okay with some planning. Host is friendly to help and advise!

I Takamatsu, 6 minutters gange fra Takamatsu Museum of History and Folklore, ligger 御宿鷹柳, som har gratis sykler, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. Great help from Shin at all moments !!! Very clean and we came to have a bathtub ready every night !

Hostel JAQ takamatsu ligger i Takamatsu, med Liminal Air-core Takamatsu bare 2,7 kilometer unna. I bloody loved this place! The 2000 yen dinners were fantastic and Ryu the Chef could cook anything gluten free, so for me it was a dream to be able to eat all Japanese styles and not be restricted to just sashimi or sushi, plus..... he played a mean guitar and ukulele and knew a whole bunch of songs. We had some great jam sessions and interactions with the other guests. I recommend taking the cooking lessons if you get a chance- I learned how to make Dashi and prepare Shabu Shabu. The breakfast was a full meal prepared by Ryu- not just the usual cheese, boiled egg and toast. As hostels go - this one is a cracker!

Location, 15min max from jr station, grocery store at 1min walk, calm place, garden and shopping street and restaurants at walking distance. Calm place, clean, room is fine with all what you should need. Communication is easy with booking messages.

Miyama-tei is a quiet place surrounded by rice and vegetable fields. I enjoyed a restful stay in a comfortable bunk room. The facilities were very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. There are a few small cafes within walking distance. Check-in was self service and the instructions sent ahead of time were easy to follow.
