RoheN HAKONEYUMOTO in Hakone provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The shared common spaces were inviting and felt very relaxing. The lighting was perfect with little tea lights and candles everywhere. Nice views of the surrounding area from the large windows. The bedroom was like a cozy little treehouse. It was raining the night I stayed, but I spent a lovely evening in the lounge with a glass of red wine and the delicious Basque cheesecake. The breakfast was lovely, also.

HakoneHOSTEL1914 is located in Hakone, 6 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Train and bus services are available. All rooms are air conditioned. Shared bathroom. The hostel is amazing – great location in the heart of Hakone, close to attractions and transportation, yet peaceful and relaxing. The best part was the lovely host (or receptionist), who was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Hakone next time. Highly recommended!

The staff is very friendly and helped us with the luggage and onsen customs. The bathrooms were clean and a lot of them, so we didn't have to wait for others to shower. There is also small kitchen with a fridge.

I stayed here near new year’s eve until the new year. The place is not far from Yugawara station and kombinis. The place felt homey; I really liked the mattress and blanket, so comfy I always woke up late. I didn’t talk much with the staff, I wish I could but language barrier sucked. However, from the little interaction I had, you can tell he was sympa and actually wanted to interact and talk more with the guests. He offered me NYE soba which was very very nice.

I loved the space and the bathroom. There was enough space it didn't feel too small. The bed and blankets were very nice as well. Recommend! Right across from the Odawara Castle and an easy walk from the train station.

Open in April 2017, IZA Enoshima Guest House is located just a 3-minute walk from Enoshima Station and a 5-minute stroll from Katase-Enoshima Station. Perfect !! Very cosy, welcoming host, good location !

Well located in the Naka Ward district of Yokohama, Chillulu Hostel is located 4.5 km from Sankeien, 12 km from Nissan Stadium and 18 km from Motosumi-Bremen Shopping District. Everything was perfect, the employees were nice, the comfort of the bed was so nice, I would stay here again! In fact, I will!

Plumhostel is set in Odawara, 1.4 km from Miyukinohama Beach and 6.7 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Cool atmosphere. Real hostel vibes!

Featuring a bar, Guest House Kamejikan -turtle time- is set in Kamakura in the Kanagawa region, 400 metres from Zaimokuza Beach and 2.5 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. it was real authentic Japanese tradition home. I felt at home. The environment was quiet and tranquil, but cozy. I highly recommend.
