I got a upgrade on my room, so I had more space and a Toilet. However, I saw the shared bathroom and it was also clean and spacious. They have a good atmosphere, everything is clean and the staff are nice. They recommend us an Onsen. The room had toiletries and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had enough options. They also have a restaurant and bar, which we got welcome drinks. I'm lactose intolerant, and they informed and changed also some parts of the breakfast for me. Everything was really nice. I will be back for sure.

It also located in the very good area, and it's very close to Asakusa station which you also can take train to airport directly. Also, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I loved the homely atmosphere of the lodge, the warmth, the incredible views, the magical snowfall everyday. The common area had everything we needed including extra blankets, books, games, a keyboard…and we had access to water, tea and coffee. The communal fridge made it easy to store snacks, and there is a microwave which was incredibly helpful for me as I chose to eat dinner at the lodge. The convenience store down the road has a variety of food and snacks, and plenty of vegan options! The breakfast was amazing each day. Tim was able to make me vegan waffles and muffins everyday morning which was amazing as Tokyo was challenging to find good vegan food. The coffee was barista brewed, and it was second to none. I was so impressed, I had to have two coffees every morning. Craig (owner) was the main superstar this whole trip. He went above and beyond to answer all my questions, provide advice on what to do where to go, and did all the station pickups and drop offs anytime I needed to go out for the day. As it was a spontaneous trip I didn’t have appropriate footwear or extra jackets and gloves. However the lodge was able to provide all these for me to have a comfortable stay. I even built a snowman ⛄️ I will definitely be coming back sooner rather than later! Thank you Craig, and team!

Very close to Sensoji and just a great location overall. I love the Asakusa area. The staff were great too. I got the top bunk bed but would have preferred the bottom one.

The hostel is in a great location in Shinjuku. It is close to the Golden Gai area if you plan on going out at night. The beds were comfortable with a curtain. Under the bunk beds, there is an area/locker for each person to store their belongings. The room has AC. The bathrooms were clean and the showers are hot. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

The hostel was very quiet and comfortable. The beds were nice and big and offered plenty of space, never felt claustrophobic. Due to the heat, there was no need to close the doors to the bed. Location was perfect and right in the middle of tokyo with a 2 minute walk from Sensoji shrine. There were also high quality cheap Ramen places nearby for food. There is also a 7 eleven just outside the accomadtion.

location, breakfast, room, staff Hands down, the best place to stay for a solo traveler if you are planning to stay a night in Hakone. Just a 10 minute walk from the train station. You get your own cabin with a lockable sliding door and a key. So even though it's a hostel, you get your own cubicle with better privacy and safety. There's a restaurant with great affordable food and a lounge to hang out. And for my booking the breakfast was included which was delicious. The staff is very friendly as well.

This place was fantastic! Close to Haneda airport, buses stop out the front, a short walk to the trains, a Family Mart (basic foods) across the street, friendly staff, quiet, super clean amenities, the list goes on. The best hostel I have ever stayed in.

I forgot to do this but the best hostel I’ve stayed at. The staff are lovely, personable and were super accomodating. The rooftop for guests is great to meet people or debrief after a long day in the city. Everything was super clean. I extended my stay after enjoying it so much and will stay here again, it was a great experience.
