I got a upgrade on my room, so I had more space and a Toilet. However, I saw the shared bathroom and it was also clean and spacious. They have a good atmosphere, everything is clean and the staff are nice. They recommend us an Onsen. The room had toiletries and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had enough options. They also have a restaurant and bar, which we got welcome drinks. I'm lactose intolerant, and they informed and changed also some parts of the breakfast for me. Everything was really nice. I will be back for sure.

I loved the homely atmosphere of the lodge, the warmth, the incredible views, the magical snowfall everyday. The common area had everything we needed including extra blankets, books, games, a keyboard…and we had access to water, tea and coffee. The communal fridge made it easy to store snacks, and there is a microwave which was incredibly helpful for me as I chose to eat dinner at the lodge. The convenience store down the road has a variety of food and snacks, and plenty of vegan options! The breakfast was amazing each day. Tim was able to make me vegan waffles and muffins everyday morning which was amazing as Tokyo was challenging to find good vegan food. The coffee was barista brewed, and it was second to none. I was so impressed, I had to have two coffees every morning. Craig (owner) was the main superstar this whole trip. He went above and beyond to answer all my questions, provide advice on what to do where to go, and did all the station pickups and drop offs anytime I needed to go out for the day. As it was a spontaneous trip I didn’t have appropriate footwear or extra jackets and gloves. However the lodge was able to provide all these for me to have a comfortable stay. I even built a snowman ⛄️ I will definitely be coming back sooner rather than later! Thank you Craig, and team!

The staff is extremely friendly and ready to help. The guesthouse is clean and quiet. B By looking at its position on the map one could get the impression that it is far away from the center, but in fact it is very close to the train station and it takes only 25 minutes to get to Shinjuku and just a little longer to get to other central areas. The neighbourhood is also quite beautiful. Greener than most areas downtown and with a lot of small alleys full of izakayas and restaurants.

We love this newly opened guesthouse which offered us an extremely comfortable stay to explore Nikko. The host Miyuki-san was very welcoming and even ordered a taxi for us as it was raining. There is everything you need in the house and it is very well organized. The house is well reachable from Imaichi station and there is a big supermarket nearby. It is easy to plan trips to the surrounding sites. The people in the area are also very nice and we enjoyed the exchange. It is nice and quiet around the house. There are beautiful cafes and restaurants in the area. It was a truly unique experience!
