HakoneHOSTEL1914 is located in Hakone, 6 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Train and bus services are available. All rooms are air conditioned. Shared bathroom. We had a wonderful stay in this charming old post office. Kana-san’s welcome was truly outstanding (the best of our trip to Japan). From the moment we arrived, her kindness and constant good humor made us feel at home. She went above and beyond by giving us very useful information throughout our time there and by booking a restaurant for us in the evening (without her help, we most likely wouldn’t have been able to have dinner there). She also explained very clearly how to get to Fujikawaguchiko. The room was comfortable and very well-heated. The common areas were spotless, and the location is perfect for catching several bus lines. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We arrived later than expected and staff provided clear instructions about how to "check in." Common space (kitchen and dining room and lounge) were exceptional and well suited for budget travelers. Binders with information about the region, etc. were very informative. My daughter and I stayed in a family room and were very comfortable. We enjoyed both the inside and outside onsen.

Just a short walk from the station, this traditional Japanese guesthouse has everything you could possibly need from comfy beds to clean bathrooms. The owner was really hospitable, friendly, and always considerate of his guests and we had many good and informative conversations together. This was one of the best guesthouses I’ve been to in Japan, and I can’t wait to visit it once more.

Our stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery was lovely. We arrived a bit late, but the staff were still there to welcome us and check us in. We decided to try the Italian restaurant ‘Small Restaurant Sae’ just up the street, and it did not disappoint. The property is also within a 6-minute drive to a FamilyMart. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were delicious. We ran into the property owner, Craig, as we were leaving, and he was very kind and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area. We would definitely stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery on our next trip to Tanigawa!

The house is very beautiful, and the room is cosy. Not too many guests, so it feels nice. I had good fun with the staff and the locals in the evening, and at breakfast time.

מקום האירוח Hostel Chapter Two Tokyo כולל טרסה ובר, ושוכן בטוקיו במרחק של מספר צעדים מתחנת הרכבת התחתית אסקוסה ו-200 מ' מKomagatado. שהיתי בהוסטל 6 ימים. היה ממש נוח וביתי. לא היה חסר כלום מבחינת המתקנים. האורחים הקפידו לשמור על השקט אחרי השעה 22:00. המקלחות והשירותים היו מאוד נקיים וכך גם כל ההוסטל. הצוות היה ממש מקסים ושמח לעזור. הנוף מהגג לכיוון הנהר וה-Tree sky הוא פשוט מדהים. המיקום מעולה וקרוב (מרחק דקה) מתחנת אסקסה וגינזה. קל ממש להגיע לכל מקום. כמו כן יש רכבת ישירה משדה התעופה האנדה. מסביב להוסטל יש המון מסעדות וחנויות נוחות. תודה ל-Chpter two hostel על שהות מדהימה.
