Hilo Hostel is located in Nara, within less than 1 km of Nara Station and 18 km of Iwafune Shrine. Featuring a shared lounge, this 3-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom. The staff were amazingly kind, friendly, and generous. They went out of their way to make sure I had an excellent experience and not only in Nara but in Japan in general. They are true ambassadors of Japan. I will definitely visit again if I am ever back to Nara- japan .

El Piece Hostel Kyoto, que va obrir les portes l'abril de 2013, ofereix instal·lacions noves i gaudeix d'una ubicació pràctica, a tan sols 5 minuts a peu de l'estació de JR Kyoto. It’s locate near the JR Kyoto station. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is small but big enough for me to unpack my 2 luggages at the same time (1 big 1 carry-on). The number of shared shower room are reasonable. (some place has just 3 rooms!) I have a good time stay at Piece Hostel Kyoto.

Featuring a terrace, 城崎温泉 HOSTEL Waraku is located in Kinosaki in the Hyogo region, 2.4 km from Kinumaki Shrine and 3.9 km from Seto Shrine. beautiful facility, very comfortable private room. staff are friendly. great location, close to the main street and not busy. would not consider this a social hostel however, but great for a short stay in kinosaki.

Set in Wakayama and with Takanoji Temple reachable within 200 metres, Charlie's Bed offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. The room was much bigger than we had expected. It was comfortable, had a big kitchen, and a decent sized bathroom. The hotel was close to the main drag of Wakayama, and we were able to visit various restaurants and tourist locations with ease.

Situated conveniently in the Uehommachi, Tennoji, Southern Osaka district of Osaka, Hostel Caranashi is situated 700 metres from The Osaka Korean Church in Japan, 1.3 km from Osaka Seiwa Church and... You feel like home. Very comfortable, clean, with everything you need.

Located in Nagaoka, 15 km from Hikone Castle, Guesthouse Izame Ann provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. Well worth the effort to travel to experience a lovely ryokan, it's host and the town. I paid for dinner and I'm SO glad I did. It was a highlight of my stay and in deed a highlight of my 5 week trip in Japan. You sit in a sunken seating area and watch the ryokan owner/cook prepare what felt like a large number of individual dishes. The food was absolutely delicious. I was concerned about hearing other guests because, being an older house, the walls are thin - but the night I was there all the guests were respectfully quiet. I had a view over the "river" which may be a mis-nomer - but it is a peaceful stream running through the pretty street. I highly recommend a visit.

Set in Toyooka, 2.5 km from Kinumaki Shrine, KINOSAKI KNOT offers air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. Very nice accommodation. The tatami room was comfortable and well equipped with airconditioning to sooth the summer weather. Easy to find from the map and is walking distance from the train station. The host was very helpful and friendly! Will visit and book here again when I get another chance.

Set in Minamicho, 48 km from Tokushima Station, Ichi The Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The place was very clean, kitchen was well equiped and i also enjoyed bar next door with draft beer. Bed was super comfy and room was spacious. I would definately stay again, thank you!:)
