They went above and beyond, also Miman itself is a beautiful place, the rooms were clean and the bathroom was large with 2 showers. There was even a shared lounge area with manga and access to cooking facilities. Overall an amazing place, highly recommend!

The property is situated 46 km from Crasus Dome Oita, 45 km from Oita Station and 48 km from Mount Aso. this was an unexpected favorite part of our trip! we wished we would have stayed for more than one night! extremely kind and thoughtful staff in a charming little mountain town. loved the welcome drink and a fantastic breakfast in the morning.

Absolutely love this place and people!! Ryo and Tomo are top notch host with attention to details, professionalism and with full of positive energy. Place is impeccably clean, cozy and warm with super cool onsen. I've had two wonderful meals and enjoyed every bite of it. Also have enjoyed the after dinner 2000 hr walking under the star lights. I really liked the couple that run the place. They keep it so clean and the community room is very user-friendly. It was comfortable as a solo female traveler. It’s a great location, easy to walk to the airport, grocery store, and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Guesthouse Matsuo A at the end of my long bicycle trip from Tokyo – very welcoming atmosphere, perfect location, and an incredibly supportive and interesting host.
