Peaceful sorroudings and close to the beach for swimming and surfing! You don't have to be a surfer to enjoy it here, although they offer lessons. Next time i will learn to surf! The hosts here are the best! On my first night i was invited to a local festival, and when I left checked out i realized i forgot my charger, and they promptly shipped it to my next destination! You can easily get here even if you don't have a car! Take the train or bus to Miyazaki, then take a local train that stops right next to the hostel! (just make sure to bring cash to pay the train driver) There's free bicycles to explore the area!

Yufuin Country Road Youth Hostel ligger attraktivt til i Yufuin Onsen i Yufu, 49 kilometer fra Oita stadion, 2 kilometer fra Kinrin-sjøen og 27 kilometer fra Beppu stasjon. They stole my heart. I just can't stop thinking about this beautiful town and hostel. If I ever return to Japan, I definitely have to come back here. The staff are so friendly. It's an unforgettable and very Japanese experience. They're just fantastic.

I really liked the couple that run the place. They keep it so clean and the community room is very user-friendly. It was comfortable as a solo female traveler. It’s a great location, easy to walk to the airport, grocery store, and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.
