Couch Potato Hostel ligger i Matsumoto, med Matsumoto stasjon bare 12 minutters gange unna. Vandrerhjemmet er veldig sentralt i Matsumoto. Betjeningen er energisk og hyggelig. Fellesområdene er rene og det er en trivelig stemning der.

MOUNTAinn Nagiso ligger i Nagiso og har gratis WiFi. Her bor du 4,7 kilometer fra Kotoku-ji Temple og 4,7 kilometer fra Sekibutsu Kanzan Jittoku Statue. My party of 5 total stayed only one night when hiking the Magome to Nagiso section of the Nakasendo. Proximity to train station and Nakasendo trail was the original selling point, but we fell in love with the place as soon as our host toured us around. It feels like staying at an artsy bed and breakfast, except you provide the breakfast and you get the entire place to yourself. There's small, delightful touches of personality and hospitality every where you look. We did not want for anything. Our sweet host met us at the front door to enter data from our passports and then gave us a walk through of the building. Two toilets and two showers was perfect for a group of 5. Fridge and other kitchen appliances work great. We listened to the CD disc player on the wall while reading the books and it was a lovely experience.The futons were placed very thoughtfully according to our parties needs. In addition to the trail and train station, there's a grocery store, a historic bridge and a cafe all within a couple minutes walk. The patios were a great hang out spot and we saw monkeys near the river around 7am. Honestly, I wish we had stayed longer but our plans dictated we move on. Next time we will try to book a few more nights so we can explore the area more!

Starfall Lodge tilbyr overnatting og gratis WiFi i Hakuba, 9 kilometer fra Skiområdet Tsugaike Kogen og 44 kilometer fra Nagano stasjon. great location, reasonable walking distance to most things you need. great, clean rooms and shared facilities. brekky exactly what you need before heading out to the slopes. staff were welcoming, friendly and super helpful. went out of their way to shuttle us to pick up hire gear (twice), even to dinner once and out to the mountains every morning. their recommendations for restaurants, mountains, hire gear and everything in between were spot on.

I Hakuba, 8,3 kilometer fra Skiområdet Tsugaike Kogen, ligger The Bohemians' Shelter, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en restaurant. First time skiing in Hakuba, first time in Japan ... I chose 'Bohemians' simply because of the good reviews – I had no idea where it was or how convenient it would be for our stay. I was travelling with the family and had so many questions, but Gas answered them all very patiently. He runs an amazing hostel/guest house and went out of his way to accommodate us. I loved the diverse mix of people who were there at the same time as us – breakfast and dinner times were in particular really social and there was a lovely communal vibe.

I Nagiso, 8,4 kilometer fra Kotoku-ji Temple, ligger Hostel Yui-an, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Great hosts, delicious veg and non veg food and a charming clean property on top of it. Highly recommended and one of our favorite accommodations during our month long trip to japan.

1166 Backpackers ligger i Nagano, bare under 1 kilometer fra Zenkoji-tempelet og 2,5 kilometer fra Nagano stasjon. All the staff are very nice and welcoming , they all make you feel like home. I've been around Japan for two months but I can say this was the best hostal I've been 🥹 if I ever return to Nagano I will be staying here for sure

Located just a 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort’s gondola, Morino Lodge offers cosy accommodation with spacious guestrooms and a modern lounge. Definitely must go for the pizza!!

I Suzaka, bare 1,9 kilometer fra Suzaka Zoo og 14 kilometer fra Zenkoji-tempelet ligger Guest House Kura. Guest House Kura was my first time as a solo traveler, and I felt right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made me feel safe. We even had a party there, and it was the best place to meet new people and experience traditional house living with a Futon bed. Overall, it was the best experience I’ve had so far!

Bare 13 kilometer fra Skiområdet Tsugaike Kogen og 39 kilometer fra Nagano stasjon ligger K's House Hakuba Alps - Travelers Hostel, som tilbyr overnatting i Hakuba. Host and staff were very welcoming, the accomodation was very good too !
