Everything was perfect, the room is simple but very nice, the shower area clean and spacious, you can have access to a kitchen and common room space. The staff was really nice, even helped me call my next accommodation to solve a problem, and the café seemed lovely. I would have stayed another night in Matsushima for the hostel. It's also very close to the station and I walked easily to the marina bay and the temple.

The house itself is really comfortable, thoughtfully appointed with all you need, sparklingly clean and sits on a large block with an abundant vegetable garden and a mountain as a backdrop. I had a room to myself - which they will try to do for solo travellers - and I enjoy sleeping on a futon so all was very comfortable there. The hosts were so friendly and generous - they took time to show me around the garden and have a chat, make sure I was comfortable, but also gave plenty of space for relaxing. The kitchen has some necessities (e.g. oil, soy sauce, salt and pepper) and it's a quick drive to an excellent supermarket (I had a car) to stock up on other ingredients for meals - there are also a few basics there to purchase if you are caught out (e.g. instant noodles). Situated close to the spectacular Tanesashi Coast leg of the Michinoku Trail, it's an excellent option if you want to do days hikes. I'm so glad I booked this spot - it was a heartwarming experience and a refreshing alternative to staying in larger towns and cities.

A cute guesthouse, super happy with the facilities. We stayed in the tatami room, its a bit small for 3 people, but for a short stay it worked perfectly and the futon were comfortable The staff is nice and helpful and the little kitchen was great to have a coffee the morning or cook in the evening

Very spacious and comfortable bed, there is a small area where you can leave your bag next to the mattress, but you also have a little bit of space on the other side too. The best thing was the small fan in the bedroom. Loved it. Also, the door is an actual door you can lock and not only a curtain.

מקום האירוח Yamagata Guesthouse山形ゲストハウス ממוקם בMurayama, באזור Yamagata, במרחק של 500 מ' מתחנת מוראיאמה. מקום האירוח כולל מטבח משותף ואינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם בכל רחבי מקום האירוח. קודם כל האווירה במקום ממש מגניבה. בכל הבניין יש עוד רמזים לבית הספר שנסגר והעיצוב של הגסטהאוס סופר קוזי וצ'יל. המתחם המשותף מזמין ומלא בדברים מעניינים. המיטה נוחה, מרווחת ויש תחושת פרטיות. הארוחות בוקר טעימות, צבעוניות ומשביעות. סאם ונאו היו מארחים נהדרים, אדיבים ומועילים. אם אתם נוסעים לגינזן אונסן *תשתמשו בשירות האוטובוס!!* מושלם למטיילים סולו. (הרגשתי בטוחה כישראלית ואישה) First of all, the atmosphere in the place is really cool. Throughout the building there are still hints of the closed school and the design of the guesthouse itself is super cozy and chill. The common area is inviting and full of interesting things. The bed is comfortable, spacious and private. The breakfasts are delicious, colorful and satisfying. Sam and Nao were great hosts, kind and helpful. If you are going to Ginzen Onsen - use the bus service!! Perfect for solo travelers. P.S If you come to Israel, try Knafeh, not knapa😅

מקום האירוח Guesthouse & Kitchen Hace שוכן באיוואקי, במרחק של 11 ק''מ מאקווה-מרין פוקושימה, ומציע חדרים ממוזגים ובר. Breakfast was individually organised and wrapped that made the whole experience a lot more unique. The whole building was an ex taxi noffice in traditional style. Had a cute little table for eating food. Don't expect spacious facilities, but if you are after traditional Japanese experience with home atmosphere, this Guesthouse is for you.

מקום האירוח El Amarillo SELF CHECK IN HOSTEL שוכן בפוקושימה, במרחק של 26 ק''מ מתחנת ניחומאצו, ויש בו נוף לעיר. באכסניה (דירוג של 2 כוכבים) יש טרקלין משותף וחדרים ממוזגים עם אינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם. The facilities very very clean, but the best part was hands down the beds. Extremely comfortable and even had heaters for the cold winter.
