A perfect, calm getaway from the city with still plenty of things to do. Great restaurants, thrifting, karaoke, parks, and Japanese vibes. Also Nakano is a 20 min walk away and they have a mall with Uniqlo and everything else you’d need. It’s easy to meet other people and make friends! Women-only was awesome and made me feel really safe. I can’t wait to go back and spend my entire Japan trip here. I shouldn’t have bothered with any other hotels. Nothing compares to Grapehouse Koenji!

The rooms are big, you have space to leave your stuff and hang your clothes, and everything was clean. The neighborhood is very nice, it's not far from the tourist places, but it is quiet and you find many stores, restaurants and very cutes cafes. I'll definitely come back to this hostel! Thanks!
