The location is ideal for anyone planning a Yala safari, and the team arranged everything for us pick-up, entrance tickets, and even breakfast in the jungle. It was super easy and hassle-free. You can tell they really know what they’re doing. What I loved most was the friendly atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where backpackers and travelers actually talk to each other. The common area, the garden, and the eco-kitchen setup made it easy to relax and meet new people. The host was always available, helping with transport, local tips, and anything we needed. For the price, you get amazing value, great location, good facilities, and warm hospitality. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, social, and comfortable base near Yala, Go Yala Hostel is the place. Highly recommend! 🐆🌿

Very warm family, welcoming and helpful, good location near the bus station and with plenty shops, restaurants and beaches around. Clean dorm with huge beds, it gets hot but there's a strong fan and also it's Sri Lanka so obviously hot. The family also run an on site restaurant, food is very nice and reasonable prices.

We booked private room, that was our first experience in hostel and we loved it.The hostel is calm, clean, and very relaxing. The staff is so helpful and made our experience even better. The service was unexpectedly excellent, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options for the price. Best lassi in this area.
