At night, the area is very quiet and it's easy to rest. There's a comfortable sitting area, and a basic kitchen with a fridge and water and kettle for making tea and coffee. The area is great for walking around colonial George Town. Everything is in easy walking distance, and lots of food options are nearby. MK is a great host.

Some Place Else has hands down one of the best coworking spaces I have experienced in any hostel in SE Asia. It has a cozy café on ground floor, with occasional movie nights, it has great community vibe. The location is perfect—walkable to almost everything in Georgetown—and the staff are genuinely humble and friendly.

I would give this place more than 10 stars if I could. The manager, CP, really leads from the heart. She wants to make your stay the best from the moment you arrive until you leave, even on her days off! The place itself is very nice and super clean, the dorms beds are spacious, you have the option to wash and hang your clothes for RM5, everyone is super respectful of you and your stuff, there are restaurants and marts very near (1 min walk). I would 100% go back if i'm ever back in Georgetown. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The interior and the location of the accommodation are perfect✨✨ I communicated closely with the boss in a 1:1 message. When I told him the problem, he solved it quickly. He recommended a nearby attraction, and it was great facilities are so good. Lots of shower rooms, good kitchen, laundry if necessary👍👍 If you're on a Penang trip, I'd really recommend it. Reading the guest book is fun, too. They certify it.

I loved the vibe of this hostel! It was clean, comfortable, and had a really nice common area where I met some awesome people.
