Haka House Bay of Islands is a welcoming and stylish hostel located just across from the scenic Paihia wharf, offering cosy, practical accommodations with million-dollar views of the stunning surroundings. Genuinely the friendliest and most personable hostel staff that I have encountered in Aotearoa New Zealand so far! They also have the nicest view from the kitchen/lounge windows that I have seen so far. The hostel isn't very big and therefore has a calm atmosphere, no problems with noise.

The lodge also offers a shared kitchen, dining room and indoor outdoor dining with BBQ facilities in the garden patio area. Delightfully cozy, really clean and well maintained.
