Haka House Queenstown Lakefront is the ideal home away from home for travellers seeking comfort and convenience in the heart of New Zealand's adventure capital. It was easy to get to from the airport by bus. Plus, there was Ben Lomond Trail right behind the hostel, so I was able to enjoy the nature! The hike was the highlight of my trip!

With the best location in town, locally owned On Top Backpackers & Apartments has something for every traveller! Great location, the staff Warren excellent. My single room was bright and quiet and comfortable. The vibe was great and the free breakfast was a bonus.

It’s a fantastic little house almost surreal. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. The living room was decorated very well and the kitchen has most of the things you would need to cook. The staff is friendly and the landlord is lovely too. I left my belonging there and I contacted the property. it has been kept in the kitchen until I went back to pick it up after 10 days.

The curtain around the bed was super useful, and the built-in light was a great touch. The kitchen was well-equipped and tidy, and the bathrooms were clean. Excellent location. I’d definitely recommend this place for both short and long stays.

The receptionist was really really nice. The facilities are all clean. The toilet and shower area are all clean. We will rebook here when we visit Dunedin again.
