Also very considerate, make sure I have properly acclimatized before doing any hikes. On days that I had to leave early to a tour, I was given bread (basic but still nice) to take with me.

She even stayed up past midnight to let us in the first night when our bus was delayed 3 hours.

Great place to stay and the family who runs the hostel is amazing. We were able to check in just after arriving by overnight bus, without an extra fee. Spacious room, hot water, good WiFi. The shared kitchen is upstairs and has nice views over the mountains. We were able to store our luggage for free after check out and could still use the kitchen and rooftop area. We forgot our laptop charger and they went out of their way to go to a courier to send it to our next destination (organizing it online didn’t work), which was so helpful and nice. Couldn’t recommend more to stay here.
