It’s located close enough to the island hustle (I walked across the bridge in to Taglibaran easily) yet also away enough in its own peaceful area to feel like a retreat. It’s a great location to scooter/Tuk tuk down to Alona but also close to the Port and Bohol. The bungalows are spacious with a balcony and if you’re a backpacker like me, easy to catch up on your washing! I was in the shared bungalow with considerate people so it was relaxing and a great experience. The river is great for a cool down swim and the property is well landscaped with some loungers to relax. It is small and very personable for a great experience. The staff and owner are incredibly helpful and also have quality scooters on hand for renting at a great rate.

The rooms in the hostel are fitted with a kettle. Featuring a private bathroom with a bidet and free toiletries, rooms at ZL TRAVELERS INN also boast a city view. At the accommodation, rooms have a seating area. Instead of a quick jump at Bohol we stayed over night. We could not select better place for our stay! Great owner that gave us a lot od tips! Amazing breakfast!

If you stay there, book the island hopping to balicasag over Anna, will be 1000 pesos and cheaper than on the beach. You can dry your cloths on a leash, and some cozy spots to stay while the afternoon sun is burning.

Lhoy taught me how to ride a scooty and I can’t have the words to describe how grateful I feel. Jean makes the best food and will make sure you are always well fed. I really felt at home and would definitely come back to stay again. Thank you so much for the hospitality and a warm stay.

Last, she arranged transportation to and from the house. A 5 star host!
