It was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was amazing. The staff was super friendly, and the cleanliness was perfect. It felt like the staff were doing everything to make the customers experience better, and it was very professional. For example, when I arrived, I was given a better room because there weren't many people. I spent several nights completely alone! The kitchen was always fragrant, and everything was clear and simple. I really enjoyed my stay! Thank you for providing such a wonderful accommodation in Portugal!

The Boutique Taghostel is located in a charming old building on the main avenue of Lagos directly in front of the marina with stunning sea views. Free WiFi is available. Lovely people that make you feel at home. Clean and spacious shared facilities. Shared dinners are an amazing experience.

Very easy check in with a super communicative host! The location was perfect - walking distance from the beach, the strip with all the restaurants and clubs and easy to order an Uber from. The host went out of his way to make the stay more comfortable, made sure everything was clean and helped with anything I needed. Also has very cute communal areas for connecting with other travellers in the hostel! Made some great friends while staying there. If I ever come back to the area again would definitely rebook with them.

Special kudos to a tourist from Germany who was showing around as if he were a host there :) Didn't see the actual host but all the questions were solved in WhatsApp, so everything was great!

The owner is so kind and cares about her guests and will take u for nights out which are soo fun. The location is perfect 5 mins walk to bars restaurants and beach.also a supermarket nextdoor. Hostel is super clean and has perfect facilities. I cant wait to come back😁

Hostel A Casa da Árvore se află în Faro, la aproximativ 12 km de Biserica São Lourenço și la 26 km de Portul de agrement Vilamoura. I think Rui is one of the Best who runs hotels! His kindness made our stay easier than we thought he’s supporting whenever we asked for something! It was excellent experience!

Situated 300 m from Faro Marina, Casa da Madalena Backpackers backpackers features a rooftop terrace with views over the colourful marina and the historical rooftops and a 24-hour front desk reception... Cosy and friendly place. Loved the hammocks and the shared breakfast with everyone. The location was perfect for exploring too. I really enjoyed the privacy curtains in the bunk as well.

As I am 49 yrs old, I wasn’t sure about booking a hostel but I’m glad I did. Booked the double room and had privacy and quiet when I needed it. But it was great to interact with others from all over the world
