Excellent access to the monasteries, as well as being in a pretty area. the hospitality of the staff is amazing. they provide snacks on arrival and make elaborate meals. they are very kind and caring.

You can't beat the location of this spot located right next to the Haghpats monetary and overlooking a spectacular valley! Although better classified as a motel due to the fact you go outside to access the rooms it is still very nice. We were greeted warmly and were served a delicious authentic Armenian meal with a side of delicious congac The bed was acceptable and the water was nice and warm in our shower. Breakfast was great and the Armenian coffee was very good. Overall if you are looking for a place to stay in this section of Armenia I would highly recommend it!

Excellent hotel, located in the centre and next door to the monastery we wanted to visit. The host was very welcoming and helpful. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and nothing was too much trouble for our host and the meal was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

An excellent choice for being close to Haghpat Monastery and viewing beautiful Debed Canyon. Our hosts, Mary and her family were such beautiful and kind helpful people. Lovely clean and comfortable room with air conditioning and a great shower. We spent 3 nights here and it was a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying walks and soaking up the wonderful vibe and scenery early morning and early evening when it was quiet and the gorgeous sunsets were spectacular. The cooking was exceptional. We ate breakfast and dinner at the tavern and Mary our host provided us with delicious home made butter, jams, cheeses, honey and various home cooked meals which were fine examples of beautiful Armenian cuisine. Mary speaks excellent English so was easily able to help us with any queries. I highly recommend Haghpat Hotel.

we stayed for one night at the haghpat hotel, perfect location right at the foot of the haghpat monastery. the hotel is very simple, it has clean rooms overlooking the monastery. a family management welcomed us Mary the very kind owner who speaks excellent English. we hav an Armenian dinner outside look ing Monastery,with local products from meat to vegetables with multiple courses and a special yogurt that looked like cream, all concluded with a fruit plate melon apricot peach! All accompanied by the kindness and attention of Mary who made you taste her jams and delicious honey which we also bought! but the highlight of the evening was a small flute concert played by Mary's husband inside the monastery church in an incredible atmosphere of harmonious sounds! The friendliness and family atmosphere of this hotel allowed us to spend a day in an enchanting place!

the hotel is fantastically located right at the entrance of the beautiful monastery! The rooms are authentic and clean. There was a water problem in my room, so they gave me immediately another room. Rooms are accessed from a balcony, from which there is a nice view on the monastery and the surrounding mountains. The welcome was very friendly and warm, as if you are an old friend! coffee and tea are free during your stay, a good breakfast is included. The dinner was excellent and prepared with love! The atmosphere on the hotel’s terrace is very relaxed.
