Irina and Marine made my stay comfortable and very, very pleasant. It felt more like staying at a friend's house than at a b&b. I was alone, and whenever Irina had a moment to share, she would stop for a chat. She even took me on a drive to show me around her town. Irina also found transportation for me so I could explore the Canyon and move to my next destination. If you add to all this a pleasant room from which you could hear the river and two nice dinner, you have a really lovely sojourn.

The owner, Irina was really kind and nice person. The dinner was very tasty and the atmosphere made us feel we are at the relative’s home in Armenia. We enjoyed good conversation and she even made us a “special tour” of the city on her way to the groceries(We stayed there in the off-season. I think that she was just being kind, so please do not expect it always happen). Thank Irina and Marine.

Initially I considered one night but booked two, and then had to extend because I didn’t want to leave. The kitchen is always open to cook for you and the food is consistently good. The owner, Irina, truly goes above and beyond to make your stay great. As a solo traveler without a vehicle, the location would have been pretty inconvenient if she weren’t on hand to find me cheap taxis everywhere I wanted to go. She was full of suggestions for me for activities in the area and even took me out to the mountains one day to show me her local chapel. Unforgettable experience, I really hope to come back one day with my family and do it again. This area is wonderful and this B&B is special.

Quiet room (I was only person in dorm room), good bed, hot shower, friendly and helpful staff, and good dinners and breakfasts. A central location if you want to do both the Odzun Church to Kobayr Monastery trek and the Sanahin Monastery to Kayan Fortress to Haghpat Monastery trek. Note, there is only one small market nearby, so bring what you need (or just eat meals there).

Amazing location just off the road in gorgeous Debet canyon. Irina is a lovely host who made delicious dinner and breakfast and the price was great! We really enjoyed stopping here as part of our road trip through Lori province and will definitely come back in the future!
