Great hostel, really feels like a refugio. There is only one common area (dining room), so it is easy to meet people as a solo traveler.

It was a nice, small house close to the bus station and city/village center of El Chalten. The room was basic, but for that price more than enough for us. Also the common rooms were very tidy and organised. Nice place to start a trekking to Laguna de los Tres

Jesús, the owner of the hostel, was an incredible host. He was super accommodating and quick to respond to requests. He was also very friendly and willing to give recommendations for anything and everything. The place itself was actually nicer than I expected. My gf and I shared a room to ourselves and it was plenty spacious. The kitchen itself had everything you would need to cook meals and the bathrooms worked just right. The hostel itself was small enough so that it never felt crowded and it was never hard to find a time to share a common resources (bathroom, kitchen, tables). If i were to return to El Chalten, which I definitely plan to, I would 100% stay here again.

The hostel is nice and I met some really friendly people here. It’s quite a small place but it’s super cosy. The bedrooms are super warm at night and the showers are decent too. El Chalten is a small town so the hostel isn’t miles away from anywhere you need to go. Would recommend!

The property has a good location. If you get a better price than me then it’s ok for staying in such a magical place in Patagonia. WIFI was pretty good for El Chalten standards (jfyi, it’s really bad everywhere in the town, so be prepared 😅)
