The lively main town of the Zillertal at 630 metres above sea level is the ideal starting point for numerous hikes and high alpine tours. Four valleys with reservoirs and beautiful hiking trails lead from Mayrhofen deep into the Zillertal and Tux Alps. The visitor's tax applies to adults aged 15 and over.
