The hosts were very kind.We were there some years ago, and we are happy to be there once more.The landscape is beautiful, there are many things to see.The room is okey.The balcony is good. Everything is clean.We can eat and drink there every evening.The food is very good, and they comply with our requests. The breakfast is fine. Everybody was nice, and we like Monika very much!

Up and then down a hill if walking; but, worth it. Good reception from Monica who speaks excellent English. Restaurant and nice food; Schleppes beer. Good breakfast with quality produce. Bar. Patio with lovely views. Quiet. Everywhere spotless. Bedroom a good size. Two single beds pushed together. Two single duvets and pillows. Wardrobe, bedside tables and lighting etc. Toilet/shower room clean and bright with OK shower cubicle. Shower good with plenty of hot water. Shower gel & hand soap. Patio door and window to shared balcony. Round table and two chairs. Monica is extremely professional and helpful. The place is wonderful. I’d like to return.

Wonderful location in the hills with great views and unpolluted air. Tranquil setting. Great for walks. The owners, husband and wife, are very welcoming and helpful. Family atmosphere. Excellent local products, home made schnapps, salami, speck, sausages. Nice and relaxing stay. An amazing hilltop castle nearby.

Stayed here for the Austrian F1 Weekend, just over an hour from the circuit. Beautiful family run Guest House, the hosts were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. The food is all locally sourced and exceeded expectations (including the Shnapps). Lovely scenic location, would stay again in a heartbeat.

What a pleasant experience! Can’t say enough nice words about our stay here. From the warm welcome by the hosts, awesome homemade food with portions totally larger than you would expect, beer, homemade Gravensteiner (rakija!), nice views from both room and restaurant balconies, to rooms super clean, tidy and spacious enough. Breakfast is also nice, plentiful, and tasty. Parking right in front of the building, surroundings calm and quiet. Very important thing to add here is that this is a family owned business, and they are going step further in every direction to make you feel as nice and comfortable as possible. We will definitely not search for a different place to stay near Klagenfurt.

The position of the gasthof is superb, with great views of the hills. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff extremely welcoming and helpful, the dinner we had in the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast superb, especially the home-produced ham and fresh farm eggs. A great experience.
