It is a nice, quiet neighbourhood.
It is a nice, quiet neighbourhood. It is easy to get around the village but the footpath leads directly along the railway line. The supermarkets are close and well stocked. Public lighting is weak and going out at night is not pleasant.

Calm and remote little village with a few restaurants and two supermarkets. Great access to the lake and a few lake cafes. If you like quiet and individual travels, this is a place for you. Swimming, hiking, biking, boating etc. is all great here.LenaGermany - 10Scored 10

Bodensdorf being on a rail line and a ship station makes it an excellent location to explore the lakes district of Carinthia, travel to Villach and Italy. It is small and quiet but with all the facilities such as bank and supermarket etc needed for easy travel. There is an excellent restaurant, ice cream bar and bar at See la Vie guest house. The public swimming strand was not crowded and very picturesque with all facilities. There is easy access to the Gerlitzen cable car either by car or public transport. So Bodensdorf is a must to use as a base for exploring this area of Austria , Northern Italy and Slovenia.Rudolphe BartlAustralia

The staff is caring and tries to fulfill every wish of the guest. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Public transport is excellent, the ski bus and the train stop in front of the hotel. The wellness area is not large, but of high quality, and the garden is well-kept.
