The Property 230 Alice Street or "Ric's Residential Retreat" is located in the leafy, beachside suburb of Doubleview. The locality is elevated with views to the Indian Ocean and Perth City, which is conveniently situated only 2 kilometres from the pristine Indian Ocean and the white sandy beaches of Scarborough. Perth CBD, situated on the banks of the Swan River, is only 9 kilometres to the south-east with Scarborough Beach Road only 50 metres away, providing convenient public transport, shopping, coffee shops and restaurants. Please feel free to ask me for directions or any advice on the local attractions and night life.
I look forward to being your host. I am a local - born and bred in Perth, W.A. I love the ocean and spend most of my recreational time either in the ocean or down the beach swimming, surfing, fishing or just walking along the beach & relaxing. I also love Aussie Rules Football (AFL), Western Australian wines and dining out on local seafood. I am divorced with three grown up kids and am looking forward to becoming a grandad later this year. I live upstairs most of the time but enjoy travelling to the south of WA for extended periods of time but will always take calls on my mobile, should you need some advice or assistance.
The 10 best things about this neighbourhood are; 1/ the small park opposite with kids playground and verge parking 2/ coffee shop and morning paper only 50 metres away 3/ friendly, helpful locals in a quiet, safe street 4/ Scarborough Beach heated swimming pool, restaurants and bars 5/ convenient local shops and supermarkets, liquor store & fresh fruit and vegetable shops 6/ "Munchy Mile" take away food of every type and Westfield Innaloo Regional Shopping Centre and Events Cinemas only 2 kms east 7/ easy access to public transport, train stations and the freeway via Scarborough Beach Rd (bus stop only 50 metres away) 8/ Indian Ocean coastline drive to historic Fremantle city (15 kms south) or the Hillary's Marina (10 kms north) 9/ the mature suburban trees, variety of parks (Abbett Park) and reserves and bird life 10/ elevated position with night lights
