Located on a peaceful property, overlooking scenic Adelaide Hills countryside, Adelaide Hills Retreats offer peaceful, secluded accommodations with a spa bath, a fireplace and a private patio. Free WiFi is included. Both retreats have a flat screen-TV, a DVD player, an iPod with music and an iPod docking station. Each has a kitchenette or kitchen with a microwave, stove and refrigerator. Adelaide Hills Retreats are 2 minutes’ drive from Oakbank Racecourse and Oakbank Golf Club. Adelaide Airport is a 45-minute drive away. Breakfast provisions will be supplied for guests to cook their own breakfast, including eggs, bacon, tomatoes, fresh fruit, bread, cereal, jams, juice, freshly ground plunger coffee, tea leaves, herbal teas, and milk. Each retreat also includes private barbecue facilities.

Welcome to Adelaide Hills Retreats! Formally Adelaide Hills Country Cottages, our family has been welcoming guests onto our property since 1980. We are thrilled to invite you to choose from our two beautifully presented, stunningly located Retreats in the heart of the Adelaide Hills! Villa Lemoni is a Mediterranean Inspired Villa with many homely and decadent features. King Bed, a really deep Double Spa Bath, Underfloor Bathroom Heating, Wood Fire, spectacular views! One or two couples can relax beautifully for a short, or long stay! You are completely self-contained with a fully equipped kitchen too! The Nest is a beautiful Studio Suite- just for two! The Spa Bath has views all the way from where we are here in Balhannah- to Mount Lofty and is quite breathtaking. You will feel totally cozy, within the studio suite, with the log fire, and large windows that really bring the view inside. It is newly decorated in a comfortable, modern ambiance, that puts you at ease from the minute you arrive. My heart is that you will feel the peace and unwind the minute you arrive! Enjoy!
About Us: My name is Mandy Adcock, and along with my husband Steve, have been involved in welcoming guests to our properties since the year 2000. We are truly excited about our two Retreats and the wonderful ambiance we have created for our valued Guests. We make sure we lovingly prepare your Retreat for you, with provisions for delicious Breakfasts included for you each morning. Our team works hard for you to feel our "personal welcome" in the way we present your Retreat for you, with the lights on, the heater going, and the wood fire all set ready for you to just strike a match and get the fire going in the cooler months, relaxing music to welcome you as you walk in. Our aim is for every Guest to say "WOW!" when they first walk in the door! Over the years, we have noticed our Guests prefer to drive straight to their Retreats on arrival, than drop into our Reception, so have facilitated this change. Despite minimal interaction with our Guests now, we like to make sure that you know we are only a phone call away should there be anything we can assist you with! Wishing you - WOW!
Information about the neighborhood? Where do I start? Wineries, Restaurants, Country Pubs, Cultural Trails and stunning drives to spend a lazy afternoon are plentiful! Adelaide Hills really is a wonderful base to plant yourself, and you can chose to be a busy as you like, or as lazy as you like! Our wineries are really such a"must do!" Our closest Winery to Adelaide Hills Retreats is Cobbs Hill and is a beautiful place to enjoy a platter over a vino or two, looking out over beautiful gardens and country views. The Townships of Hahndorf, Stirling, Bridgewater are all within a 20 minute radius of us and are inspiring if you love good food, history, and a bit of wine tasting. We are located right in the middle of the McLaren Vale (45 mins south west) and the Barossa Valley (45 mins north east) so day trips to each of these regions are quite within reach! You might say we are right in the heart of the Wineries, so you can pick your favourites to visit from any of these regions!
