Our original accommodation was cancelled due to weather damage so we booked this stay last minute. And well, it was a blessing in disguise. The Bush Retreat turned out to be our favorite accommodation during our whole 10 day trip in Tasmania. The grounds and facilities were absolutely gorgeous. The staff was lovely. She answered all our questions about the stay and also offered plenty of recommendations for our vacation itinerary. The honesty bar had reasonable priced food and drinks. We also took full advantage of the kitchen.

We loved everything about this bush retreat!! Incredible food provided for purchase, including a garden with fresh veggies to forage. The fire pits were very fun and comfortable to hang around. The tents themselves were perfect, very clean and cozy. The hot water bottles for sleeping were a nice touch too! Breakfast was also awesome. I couldn’t recommend this property more!

It was one of the most amazing experiences we had in Tasmania, couldn't recommend it enough! The staff were super friendly, there are lots of food and drink options available. THE TENTS ARE WARM! Staying in winter was a worry, however the rooms have heaters and electric blankets and hot water bottles, so it ends up being very toasty inside the rooms! The whole place is picture perfect, definitely a beautiful stop for vloggers and influencers. It is perfect for couples as well as groups traveling together. Fire pits running at night all close by to your tent. The owners have created an incredible experience.

Overall it's a very memorable experience, with ample of wow factors. Definitely worth your money. Alex and the other staff was very helpful - we left some of our belongings and with kind heart they helped ship it back to us to Melbourne. The tent was very clean and comfortable with sufficient heaters to go through the cold nights. Location was perfect for a retreat. It's 10 mins drive to St Helens if you need to purchase some groceries. Air is very clear from pollution, we went for stargazing whem we stayed there My most favorite part is the bonfire where you can mingle with other people staying there. The pantry is also complete and has options of food and drinks to purchase (to be cooked) during the stay.

Awesome experience,we we there for 2 nights,first night we we able to sit Arita’s fire with other travelers,2nd night was pretty wet and windy,but the tents were warm and dry,the open style facilities are great and the pre made meals were amazing,definitely give it a go,it won’t disappoint,not something I thought we would ever do,but glad we did 👍👍👍

the bush retreat is a special place, and has been carefully constructed to set a mood and create an experience unlike any other. It takes you back to basics, and yet everything you could want is supplied. Staff are there, but invisible..allowing you to make the space your own. We gathered herbs & veg from the garden to compliment the simple rustic meals we made in the beautiful kitchen. We made great connections around the fire, played games and then tucked ourselves in to our comfy warmed bed. This is one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had.
