Private and modern apartment surrounded by great restaurants, bars, cafes and designer culture a convenient 3 min walk from South Yarra station, trams and riverside parks. Walking distance to Botanic Gardens, Sidney Myer Music Bowl, NGV, Federation Square, MCG, Rod Laver, AAMI Park and Albert Park.
I'm first generation Australian with American and British parents. My kids are teaching me Spanish with Argentinian accents. I took a sea change and headed to the Surf Coast, Torquay which is where I’ll be with my family and dog Poncho, when I’m hosting your Melbourne adventure. I’ve used Airbnb on my travels and loved that it gave me a sense of how locals live. Hopefully my place gives my guests a taste of Melbourne life. I will greet you myself depending on your arrival time. If I'm not able to check you in personally I will explain how to get the keys before your arrival.
South Yarra is full of amazing restaurants, cafes and shops. You have access to the designer stores on Chapel st and Toorak rd, Prahran Markets for fresh produce and pubs and bars around the area. Cinema Como, Village Jam Factory, Chapel st shops and the Botanic Gardens are all a short stroll away. A short walk to South Yarra station for trams and trains. There's the number 8 tram into the city or the train from South Yarra station takes 6 minutes to Flinders Street. You can also walk along the Yarra Trail for the scenic route to the city.
