Beachgum is a unique beachside retreat nestled on an acre of natural woods that look out to the beautiful blue ocean and the islands beyond. Our compact four-bedroom house has a charming upstairs lounge room with a generous north-facing balcony. Light the fire if the evening gets chilly and pop in a DVD or fire up Netflix on the 55” HDTV. There’s free wifi throughout the house, or enjoy the dozen or more popular board games in the nearby kids’ area. Hang the hammock over the lush green lawn by the sea and relax, or exercise with a hit of tennis! Yes, Beachgum now has its own tennis court and you can use the racquets provided or bring your own. Also bring your own device to hook into the music system in the kitchen, using either Bluetooth or the supplied aux cable. Two of the four bedrooms face the ocean. The fully equipped kitchen also looks out over the ocean and has all the usual mod-cons with a BBQ just outside. Newly renovated bathrooms will be finished by the end of September 2020. Enjoy a nice long soak in a long deep tub. You'll never want to leave.

The surrounding foliage leaves you feeling secluded in your own piece of paradise, but with Bateman’s Bay and all its amenities just 12 minutes drive away. Walk down do a delightful beach cove in a matter of seconds, or look out for the dolphins and whales below as you take a ten-minute bush hike along the cliffs to the larger Lilli Pilli Beach. Walk ten-minutes farther to get the paper and dine at the lovely Beachside Bakery Café. Or you can drive here in two minutes and also collect groceries near by. You’ll never want to leave, but if you do there is a load to explore, even within a 10 minute drive. Check out the groovy town of Mogo with its colonial gold-rush town and fabulous hippy shops and cafes. The playground at the nearby Eurobodalla Botanical Gardens will keep your kids busy for hours as will the Mogo zoo. Just a little further on, visit the Birdland Animal Park, Kayak the inlets, try the snorkeling trail, bike some or all of the 18kim cycleway, discovery Murramarang National Park… the list goes on.
