The house was really comfortable and a 'home from home'. Beautiful location with a nice garden and a view to cows in a field over the back fence (we loved that!). Easy to get into the town. We had a lovely overnight stay.

Belle Cottage is a spacious 2 bedroom house with country style decor set in a lovely cottage garden. It features an outdoor enclosed patio area with outdoor dining and BBQ facilities. It is fully self-contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities. There is a wood heater and a reverse cycle air conditioner/heat pump for your comfort. The property is particularly suited to families using it as a base for exploring all the North East of Tasmania has to offer. Corporate clients can stay longer term with special corporate rates available by contacting management. The property is pet friendly subject to request and conditions apply (pets allowed outdoors and in the patio area only). The cottage is ideally central to all the main attractions of the North-East of Tasmania. It is on the outskirts of the town in a lovely rural setting but within easy walking distance of all the shops.
I am a mixed practice veterinarian in the Central West of NSW, but am originally from the town of Scottsdale. I have Belle Cottage, as well as Bella Villa in Scottsdale, and Blue Derby FLOW in Derby, Tasmania (home of the Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails). I live with my husband and 2 children between Forbes and Condobolin in the Central West of NSW and own and manage a beef and sheep and cropping property. I have a manager, Sherilyn, who manages my properties in Scottsdale.
Scottsdale is the main population centre of North-East Tasmania with a population of approximately 2000 people. It is very well serviced and is the ideal base for exploring all the North-East has to offer as it is centrally located to all the main attractions. Nearby are the Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm, Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm Links Golf Courses, Piper's Brook Winery Trail, food and wine experiences, Bridport beaches, North-East Rail Trail, and the Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails. Use Belle Cottage as your base for exploring all the amazing diverse attractions of the region. Take a scenic drive, bush walk, ride a bike, fossick for minerals, take a swim, or simply relax on the patio, reading a book, breathing the fresh air, and enjoying the garden and rural scenery. The choice is yours!
