We are excited to offer accommodation in this secluded coastal village; know to locals as “Catho”. A Historical and Heritage Listed Area, Catherine Hill Bay is widely know for its stunning beaches, patrolled by lifeguards from October to March (Date differs from year to year). Just over an hour from Sydney and 40mins south of Newcastle, with wonderful beaches for swimming, diving, surfing and fishing and long walks on the beach. You can do as much as you want or as little as you want. Hunter Valley is located 45 mins away, where you can take a day trip. Port Stephens and Nelson Bay is just over an hour north, with sand dunes and bays close to hand to explore. A well known “Catho Pub” in the area serve delicious meals, and children are welcome. On the weekend there is live music, and entertainment for all. You will notice when travelling through Montefiore Parkway to your accommodation, a glimpse of the ocean and the bush setting awaits you. Bluemoon is located on a corner, and your accommodation is located along the corner, at the back of the block. A car park space has been provided for you, and an outdoor shower next to the outdoor stairs, refreshing after a long day at the beach.
Nestled in between the ocean and Lake Macquarie, many other activities awaits you at Lake Macquarie, like boating, water skiing and jet skiing. About the owners: After extensive travel over the years, and staying at hotels, motels, Airbnb, Bed & Breakfasts. We have found that unless it’s 4 or 5 Stars, the accommodation and service lack something. We are supplying new furniture, colour coordinated towels to each guest, for easier individual recognition. We hope you will like the little touches for your relaxation and enjoyment.
