Tastefully renovated 2022, this bright and airy 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home is a leisurely 600m walk to shops, park and Rail Museum, in a peaceful street with no through traffic. Fully fenced for pets and children with off street parking. Enjoy the serenity on the front porch, a BBQ out the back or movie night on the King Living “Jasper” lounge. Indulgent kitchen, complete with a 900mm oven, slow cooker, rice cooker, electric frypan and a full range of utensils and other cooking essentials.
Hi there fellow traveller, thanks for checking out my listing, I'm excited to get to know more about you. Travel is my passion, there are just so many places to see and so little lifetime. My travel plans in the next year include a 6 week trip to India and an extended drive around Europe. I host two properties in my hometown of Thirlmere NSW Australia and I'd love to share some of the gems of our area with you, should you choose to stay. Besides my travel goals, I've spent significant parts of my life working in accounting with small businesses as well as embracing my other passion of yoga, through teaching and starting and operating a yoga studio. My partner and I have also renovated and built a handful of properties in Thirlmere, it's a fabulous area, getting more interest and visitors every year. We used to ride the local steam trains as children, and our own children have grown up with the steam trains also, bringing visitors from all over to experience the train rides and the fantastic museum. Rob and Hayley manage the property from nearby and are available quickly for any issues.
The property is a short walking distance to the town of Thirlmere, the home of the NSW Rail Museum for steam train rides and rail history. It enjoys a number of relaxed cafes and the Welcome Inn hotel. There is a great park for kids, a popular Yoga studio and a small IGA for basic needs. Located in one of the quieter streets with no through traffic, you can enjoy the sound of birds, peace and quiet and friendly neighbours. Just a 5 minute drive to either Tahmoor and Picton for more cafes and shopping options. 30-40 minutes will take you to the Southern Highlands, Wollongong or Campbelltown. Invest an hour and you can be in Sydney, the Blue Mountains or Shellharbour. The NSW Rail Museum is an easy 600m walk, as are the local cafes and park. Parking is available on or off the street within the gated yard.
