Property Description: Cleggett Estate is a 4 hectare, 5 star property. It has a feature lake (subject to rainfall) with an island and jetty at the entrance. There are panoramic views to Mt Macedon and across Jacksons Creek to Red Hill. In addition, guests are welcome to stroll the expansive grounds and experience a touch of country tranquillity while possibly spotting ducks on the lake, numerous red and blue lorikeets, blue cranes, galah’s and wedge-tailed eagles. Alternatively, guests can sit on the swings overlooking the tennis court and contemplate life. All this while enjoying the modern conveniences of city living. ***Please Note: We provide a 12 midday checkout*** Cleggett Estate Holiday Cottage is a 5 star (air conditioned throughout) fully self contained (Covid safe) unit with a large kitchen ,dining and lounge area. The spacious bedroom (with a timber queen bed and side tables) has a large flat screen TV, tallboy, walk-in in robe and ensuite which includes a separate shower, bath, double vanity and separate toilet (see photos). All windows in the cottage are double glazed, with additional insulation/soundproofing in the walls for added privacy. A full continental breakfast complement (with bread of your choice), at no extra charge, is supplied for the guests to prepare for themselves. The hosts, Harvey and Leanne provide daily house keeping at no additional charge. They greet all guests on arrival to help them with their luggage. Also available is direct access to a full gymnasium, pool table, air hockey, massage chair, sauna and table tennis table (see photos). A full range of restaurants are available in Gisborne and Riddells Creek, each 7 kilometres away. Readings cinema, Bunnings, Target, Harris Scarfe, the Good Guys etc are available in Sunbury which is 18 kilometres away. Mt Macedon and Hanging Rock is 18 kilometres away along with multiple walking paths. Woodend, Kyneton and Bendigo are available via the Calder freeway. A number of wineries are located in the Sunbury, Gisborne and Macedon areas.
