Great value for money, its an old pub so its that style of accommodation. Comfy beds and good breakfast set up, close to the park and river. Staff were friendly

Pros.. Cheap and cheerful and pretty clean for an old pub. I was in town for Dubs by the River. Relatively quiet too but it was a Sunday night. Help yourself to breakfast and access to a microwave and fridge. Tea and coffee (instant) also available. Electric blanket, opening window and heater/air conditioning in the room, and a common room with a large tv (even if it was missing a few channels) comfy couch and tables and chairs. Plenty of hot water in the (clean but slightly small) vintage ladies showers (can't speak for the boys). Good parking on and off the street, and in a great location overlooking the river and park, with a short walk to the IGA, post office and local cafe. For the price it was great!

Meals available all June long weekend and obviously popular with locals. Friendly staff. Was delighted to find cereal and toast available, with kettle, toaster and fridge facilities to store a few food items we had taken. Also a communal guest room with tv and sofa. Really liked our large room with high ceilings and great view of the river. Fantastic value for money. We will be back!
