Thank you for your hospitality and understanding with the cancellation of the ferry due to bad weather. We had a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay in your well equipped house. Fantastic fire with plenty of wood. Beautiful Emu Bay beach is just a short walk away with Kingscote a short drive. We found Emu Bay to be a good base for getting around to see KI's attractions. The back yard isn't fenced but the large enclosed verandah was perfect for our dog. Oh....and penguins! We didn't see them but we heard them! :)
